Day 1 Arrive Mumbai, India

Welcome and touch down in Mumbai, the beating heart of India and a city that pulses with unstoppable energy. From spontaneous cricket games played in narrow bylanes to the lively bargaining at local markets like Chor Bazaar, every corner tells its own story. Take your first bold bite of the iconic vada pav a spicy potato-filled street favorite that perfectly captures the city’s flavor.
Magnificent heritage buildings crowned with grand domes stand proudly as reminders of Mumbai’s regal past. Along the bustling waterfront, the majestic Gateway of India rises as an enduring emblem of the nation, glowing beautifully as the golden hues of sunset filter through its elegant archway. On arrival in Mumbai, you will be warmly welcomed by Discover India representative, who will assist you and transfer you to the hotel for check in and relax.

Day 2 Mumbai - Bollywood Experience

Today we explore the lively spirit of Mumbai. We begin with a visit to a Bollywood studio, where we get a glimpse of how Indian films are made and even try a few fun dance steps ourselves.
Next, we walk through a local spice market filled with bright colors and rich aromas. We then visit the famous Gateway of India, an iconic landmark that beautifully blends Hindu and Muslim architectural styles.
To experience daily life like a local, we take a short train ride, just as millions of Mumbaikars do every day. Later, we stop at Dhobi Ghat, the world’s largest open-air laundry, where hundreds of clothes are washed in the open.

Day 3 Mumbai - Udaipur

Today we fly to Udaipur, one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Rajasthan. On arrival, we transfer to our hotel, a stunning palace-style property located on the shore of Lake Pichola.
Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes, surrounded by calm waters and peaceful scenery. After some time to rest and enjoy the hotel, we head out for a private boat ride on Lake Pichola. During the cruise, we pass by Jag Mandir, a beautiful marble palace, where impressive elephant statues stand at the entrance. The evening is serene and perfect to enjoy the charm of this magical city.

Day 4 Udaipur

Today we explore the magnificent City Palace complex, beautifully built in marble and overlooking the lake. Inside, we also visit the Crystal Gallery at Fateh Prakash Palace, which displays a rare and impressive collection of crystals.
Later, we take a relaxing walk through Sahelion Ki Bari, also known as the Garden of the Maidens, famous for its fountains, marble pavilions, and peaceful surroundings.
After sightseeing, we return to the hotel for some rest.
In the evening, there is an optional experience which costs €60 Per Person where we visit a local family’s home to watch a live cooking demonstration led by an expert chef. This is followed by a traditional dinner, where we learn about and taste authentic Royal Mewar cuisine.

Day 5 Udaipur - Jaipur | By Train

Today we travel by train to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan in northern India. We depart from Udaipur at 6:00 AM and arrive in Jaipur at 1:40 PM. The train journey offers a glimpse of rural landscapes and local life along the way.
On arrival, we are warmly welcomed by our Discover India representative and transferred to our hotel for check-in.
Jaipur, known as the Pink City, is among the first properly planned cities in India. Surrounded by the soft pink hills of Rajasthan, the city is famous for its distinctive rose-tinted buildings. It was established in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, a visionary ruler and skilled astronomer, who designed the city following traditional Indian architectural principles, with wide streets, organized markets, and protective city walls.
On arrival, you will notice the city’s unique structure, where historic areas exist side by side with modern developments. Jaipur is full of life, from its busy roads to its vibrant bazaars. The city is particularly known for its beautiful textiles, handcrafted jewellery, and sparkling semi-precious stones, making it a paradise for shoppers and culture lovers alike.
The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax and enjoy at your own pace before we head out later for another unforgettable experience in this fascinating city.

Day 6 Jaipur

We begin the day with a thrilling jeep ride up to Amber Fort, a magnificent fortress set on a hill and dating back to the 16th century. Inside, we walk through spacious courtyards, admire detailed carvings and lattice windows, and see beautifully painted walls and royal chambers that showcase classic Rajput design.
After exploring the fort, we drive through the old part of Jaipur and stop for photos at the iconic Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds.
Our tour continues to the City Palace, the residence of Jaipur’s royal family. Here, we visit the museum displaying royal outfits, historic artefacts, and valuable collections. There is also time to explore Jaipur’s famous gemstone jewellery and traditional block-printed fabrics.
We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where we taste traditional Rajasthani dishes.
Later, we pause for pictures at Jal Mahal, the beautiful Water Palace set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. We then visit Jantar Mantar, the historic astronomical observatory and UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by a visit to the sacred Monkey Temple (Galta Ji), located peacefully among the surrounding hills.

Day 7 Jaipur - Agra

After breakfast, we depart from Jaipur and drive to Agra, a journey of approximately five hours. On the way, we stop to explore Fatehpur Sikri, the historic Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar. This beautifully preserved city is known for its grand courtyards, palaces, and impressive gateways that reflect the glory of the Mughal era. After the visit, we continue our drive to Agra.
Agra, often called the city of white marble, is famous for its Mughal heritage and is home to the world-renowned Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel and relax. The afternoon is free for you to unwind or enjoy personal time.
In the evening, we attend a 75-minute live cultural show that brings to life the legendary love story behind the Taj Mahal. The performance beautifully depicts the romance between Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal, the splendour of the Mughal period, and the dedication of the artisans who spent 22 years creating this timeless symbol of love.

Day 8 Agra

We begin the morning before sunrise with an early visit to the Taj Mahal. As daylight gently appears, the white marble monument slowly changes shades in the soft morning light, creating a peaceful and unforgettable atmosphere. Visiting at this quiet hour, before the crowds gather, allows us to truly admire its beauty and perfect symmetry.
Afterward, we return to the hotel for breakfast and then continue exploring Agra with a tour of Agra Fort. This impressive red sandstone fortress was commissioned by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century and later refined by Shah Jahan. Once the royal residence of the Mughal rulers, the fort features elegant palaces, spacious courtyards, and grand audience halls. From certain points, we can also enjoy distant views of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River.
Following lunch, we visit a traditional marble inlay workshop to learn about Agra’s famous craftsmanship. Skilled artisans demonstrate the precise technique of setting semi-precious stones into marble — the same decorative art seen in the Taj Mahal. This visit provides a deeper understanding of the artistry and offers a chance to purchase genuine handmade souvenirs.

Day 9 Agra - Delhi - Varanasi By Flight

Today we transfer to the airport for our flight, connecting via Delhi to Varanasi, one of the oldest and most spiritually important cities in India. Formerly known as Kashi, meaning “City of Light,” Varanasi is deeply rooted in Hindu tradition and is believed to be one of the world’s oldest living cities.
On arrival, we are welcomed and escorted to our hotel for check-in and some time to settle in.
In the evening, we head to the banks of the holy River Ganges to witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti ceremony. This sacred ritual is performed daily by priests using oil lamps, incense, and rhythmic chanting, creating a powerful and spiritual atmosphere along the riverfront ghats.

After the ceremony, we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 Varanasi

We begin the day early with a peaceful boat ride on the holy River Ganges. As the sun slowly rises, the ghats come alive with morning rituals. We see pilgrims offering prayers, devotees taking sacred baths, and priests conducting religious ceremonies along the riverbanks. We also pass by the traditional cremation ghats, which play an important role in the spiritual life of Varanasi. The calm atmosphere at sunrise makes this a truly touching and unforgettable experience.
In the afternoon, we take an excursion to Sarnath, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites. It was here that Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment in Bodh Gaya, marking the beginning of his teachings. We explore the ancient ruins, visit the impressive Dhamek Stupa, and see valuable Buddhist artefacts and sculptures displayed in the archaeological museum.
In the evening, we return to the ghats to witness the beautiful Ganga Aarti ceremony. The sound of devotional chants, the sight of priests holding glowing lamps, and the spiritual energy along the river create a magical atmosphere. After the ceremony, we head back to our hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11 Varanasi - Delhi

After breakfast, We will proceed to the Varanasi airport for our flight to Delhi.
Welcome to Delhi, the energetic capital of India, where centuries of history stand alongside modern city life. In Old Delhi, narrow lanes, vibrant markets, historic havelis, and grand mosques reflect the legacy of the Mughal period. In contrast, New Delhi, planned during British rule, is known for its spacious roads, impressive colonial architecture, and important government buildings set among green avenues.
After arriving at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be received by our representative, who will assist you and arrange your transfer to the hotel for check-in and time to unwind.

Day 12 Delhi

After breakfast, we begin exploring the many sides of India’s capital. Our morning starts in Old Delhi with a visit to Jama Masjid, the grand mosque built in 1656 by Emperor Shah Jahan. From there, we experience a cycle rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk, passing busy markets filled with spices, traditional sweets, and sparkling jewellery shops.
We then drive past the historic Red Fort before heading to Humayun’s Tomb. Constructed in the 16th century by the emperor’s wife, this impressive monument later became the burial place of several Mughal rulers and is considered one of the earliest and finest examples of Mughal garden architecture in India.
In the afternoon, we visit Gandhi Smriti, the house where Mahatma Gandhi spent his last days. Now preserved as a memorial, it displays his simple room and the prayer area where he met people every evening, giving visitors a meaningful glimpse into the final chapter of his life.
